Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Author Guidelines

 

Contributions are accepted on the understanding that the authors have obtained the necessary authority for publication. Manuscripts will be subjected to screening for plagiarism and blind peer review processes prior to publication.

Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in the rejection of the manuscript.

Upon acceptance of the manuscripts by the journal, the authors will be asked to transfer the copyright of the article to the publisher. This transfer will ensure the widest possible dissemination of information.

 

 

PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPTS

Manuscript must be prepared using Microsoft Word format. The preferred length for articles is around 5,000 words. However, shorter contributions are welcomed and longer articles may be considered for publication. Manuscripts should be sent in Word format and typed in single-spacing on one side of A4-sized paper with 1.5-inch margin on the left, using 12-point regular Times New Roman font. The pages should be numbered consecutively.

(a) The first page

The first page should show the title, author(s), affiliation, country and e-mail address(es) in the style as follows:

Title : 14-pt bold Times New Roman, centered Author(s) : 11-pt bold Times New Roman, centered Affiliation and Country : 10-pt regular Times New Roman, centered

E-mail address : 10-pt regular Times New Roman, centered, underlined

The first page should also contain an abstract of not more than 200 words and up to five keywords to facilitate indexing. The abstract should summarise the objectives, main findings and conclusions of the paper.

(b) References

Only references which are cited in the text should be included in the Reference List. The APA style reference system is adopted for the journal. For futher information please visit http://www.apastyle.org.

References within the text will be shown in bracket by quoting first, the author's name followed by a comma and year of publication all in round bracket, e.g. (Salim, 2003). References should appear at the end of the article, arranged in alphabetical order by the first author’s surname as follows:

For journals:

Surname, initials. (Year of Publication). Title. Journal, Volume (issue), pages.

For conference papers:

Surname, initials. (Year of Publication). Title. Conference name, place, pages.

For books:

Surname, initials. (Year of Publication). Title. Location: Publisher.

For article or chapter in an edited book:

Surname, initials., & Surname, initials. (Year of Publication). Title of chapter. In A. A. Editor & B. B. Editor (Eds.), Title of book (pages of chapter). Location: Publisher.

For website (author and date known):

Author, A. A. (year). Title of work. Retrieved month day, year, from source.

For website (author and date unknown):

Title of work. (year). Retrieved month day, year, from source.

 (c) Figures, tables and captions

Figures and tables must be included within the text rather than grouped at the end of the paper. Captions should be centred with respect to figures and tables and numbered consecutively. Table headings must be placed above tables, and figure captions placed underneath figures.

 

SIMULTANEOUS SUBMISSION AND PREVIOUS PUBLICATION

Submission of a manuscript implies a commitment to publish in this journal. Simultaneous submission to other journals is unacceptable. Previously published work, or work which is substantially similar to previously published work, is ordinarily not acceptable. If in doubt about these requirements, contact the editors.

 

 NOTIFICATION

Contributors will be notified whether their manuscripts have been accepted after the review process is completed. If changes are required, authors are furnished with comments from the editors and the international review board. The editors are responsible for all final decisions on editorial changes. The editors reserve the right to copy-edit and proof all articles accepted for publication without prior consultation with contributing authors.

ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE (APC)

There is no article processing charge (APC) or submission charge for submission and publication in this journal. All submission and publication in this journal is free.
